What is Nutritional Genetics?

Our Genetic Nutrition Analysis Panel examines seven genes that play major roles in your body's detoxification capacity, antioxidant capacity, alcohol metabolism capacity and tissue repair. We combine this genetic information with information from a lifestyle questionnaire to provide personalized dietary recommendations that help keep your body working at an optimum level.

Why is a personalized diet important?

We all know our health is influenced by what we eat, drink and other well-known lifestyle choices that we make. The latest scientific research now shows that for each of us these choices can have greatly differing effects on our health.

Small differences in your genes can influence how well your body metabolizes foods, utilizes nutrients and excretes damaging toxins, all of which can affect your general state of health. By finding out if you have any of these small variations, you can modify your diet and lifestyle choices to achieve optimum nutrition and health.

How do we get your results?

We combine a detailed assessment of your present diet and lifestyle with your genetic profile to generate your individual advice.

  • Smoked meat & fish

Your Genes

The selected genes that make up the Genetic Nutrition Analysis Panel were chosen because they have strong links to health and can be influenced with lifestyle changes.

We assess seven genes that relate to the following physical aspects within your body:

Your DNA sample is obtained in an easy and completely painless way that can be performed in the home. Simply rub a brush swab on the inside of your cheek, complete the lifestyle questionnaire and return them for assessment.
